Walls in Napoli

Titled “Walls in Napoli,” this 80×80 cm piece suggests warm energy, architecture and diversity found in the streets of Naples (the way I felt it few years ago when I visited this city and Pompeii). Naples yellow suggests warmth and vitality, while warm umber adds depth and richness, much like the layers of history within the very walls of this city. The intentional blur in the lower portion suggests perpetual movement and the proximity of the sea to the city. It has painted edges and it is a ready to hang piece.
